Acid, pour it cold upon 2 measured Ounces of Alcohol, apply a moderate heat, and a dense white smoke will arise, at the same time the powder precipitates, which must be immediately well washed on a filter, and carefully dried with a heat not exceeding that of a water bath | N.B.
